  1. Being jumpy is pretty normal for a guinea...they sometimes call it popcorning... but, the white p**p thing is odd. I know these animals are usually considered pocket pets and not too expensive, but if you are really concerned, bring them to a vet. And, I wouldn't say that guinea pigs shouldn't be put together, because that's not true. They by nature like to be with other guineas. What will probably happen, is that one will become more dominant than the other. I've seen it with every couple of pigs I've had. I have two new ones now that my two passed away last year after 5 years, and they sometimes get a little moody with each other. Call a vet if you are concerned...

  2. well two male guinea pigs do tend to fight because they can be very terratorial. did you buy both of them at the same pet store? or just recent got a new one then rushed them together? white p**p? that weird. maybe you changed their diet.

  3. do not put two male guinea pigs together

  4. Guinea pigs shouldn't be kept together.

  5. If the biting is not drawing blood, don't be concerned.  Guinea pigs nip each other as a way to establish dominance.  After they sort out dominance such behaviors will decrease.  Don't listen to the people who are saying males can't be kept together, that is just a stupid myth about males.  Guinea pigs are social creatures that need the company of others.

Some things you can do to decrease the fighting:

-Have a large enough cage. (Guidelines here: http://www.guineapigcages.com/)

-Have two of everything (hideys, bowls, water bottles)

I'm not sure about the white p**p.  Are you sure it's p**p and not calcium deposits?

If it's not a calcium deposit, I'd make a vet appointment.
