Okees, my brother got a chain letter from his friend, daying that if you send it to 7 friends within four days, it will be put into the guiness book of world records. He's only got one more day left, so what happens if he breaks the chain? or is this a real scam / chain letter?

  1. Don't stress about it, if it wasn't your brothers idea to put it in the guiness book of records then he shouldn't feel obliged to pass it on if he doesn't feel comfortable.

Another thing to think about...who is tracking the letter and seeing that it actually gets passed on? I wouldn't forward it.

  2. Claiming that they're trying for a "World Record" is one of the oldest tricks in the book chain letter writers use.

If they're asking for donations or sales, it's a scheme. If they're not, it's a bored college student trying to see how many gullible people he can fool.
