Guinness Andy tipped to win The Romford Stadium
S. Cahill’s trainee, Guinness Andy, is tipped to win The Romford Stadium Maidens in England on Friday, March 16, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will walk away with a cash prize of £150.
The participants will have to cover a race distance of 400 metres and the first one who crosses the finish line will bag the cash award. The flat race is scheduled to start at 20:18 GMT and the entries confirmed for it are: Guinness Andy, Slippery Rocky,
Whack Wallop, Murlens Murcia, Carden Simon and Tippy Court.
Guinness Andy has been performing consistently well in this grade, thus the bookmakers have shown confidence in his abilities. He has not been able to win for the past few months, but has the ability to turn things around pretty quickly.
The punters might be a touch hesitant over risking money on the race favourite hound, as he does not have a good record at Romford. However, compared to some of the other participants in the race, he is most likely to end up on top of the table.
The white and black dog is the son of Droopys Vieri out of Miss Modesty and was born in April 2010.
Slippery Rocky, trained by A. Ingram, has been running consistently at Romford and is well aware of the conditions at this venue. He was victorious in his most recent outing, but that was a different class. He will have to be at his absolute best in order
to challenge the race favourite today.
The blue and white hound is the son of Top Honcho out of Steamy Windows and was born in January 2010.
Other than the top two favourites, Whack Wallop will also be the one to watch out for. He has not been in good touch over the past couple of events, but a little luck could see him finish at top of the table today.
P. Young’s trainee was unimpressive in his most recent outing, finishing fifth, thus the bettors will not be risking much money on him. The blue dog is the son of Droopys Scolari out of Zina Marina and was born in August 2010.
Murlens Murcia, Carden Simon and Tippy Court might not be able to make an impression at Romford, as they will find things hard in this class.
