Guinness Dusty determined to win Puppy Stakes
Guinness Dusty is fully determined to demonstrate winning performance at Oxford racecourse in a bid to lift the ace title of the Ladbrokes Puppy Stakes, a high-voltage Open Race that will start at 21:25 (GMT) on Tuesday night, June 19. The prize purse of the race contains £500.
On the flat track of 450 metres, the S. Cahill-trained blue dog will test his racing personas against Cavan Dancer, Droopys Casey, Roseville Bullet, Ballymac Eat and Millwards Daisy.
Guinness Dusty has been enjoying great form for the last six months. After bagging a couple of consecutive conquests in the month of January, the two-year-old veteran runner moved on to win a race each in February, March, April and May. From there onwards, he kept showing his presence on the podium regularly.
The dashing dog gained three thirds in a row during May. After getting a runner-up rank in his second last start, the brilliant hound elegantly clinched top position in the subsequent outing on June 7.
As a whole, the talented son of Droopys Scolari out of Kilelton Rose possesses a glorious track record. The way he performed during the last couple of years has made him a favourite prospect for the Puppy Stakes.
If Guinness Dusty manages to keep his stamina intact, he will definitely have up to 90 percent chances to walk away with victory tonight.
However, each one of Ballymac Eat and Millwards Daisy will give tough time to Guinness Dusty.
Ballymac Eat accomplished a fabulous hat-trick of victories during April-May 2012. After getting three thirds in the subsequent starts, the A. Jenkins-trained black dog nicely finished first by the big margin of 5 ¼ lengths in his last outing on June 14.
On the other hand, Millwards Daisy bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs in May 2012. The P. Young-trained white and black b***h finished as a runner-up in her second last start on June 2.
In this situation, it is anticipated that there will be a rip-roaring and close competition at Oxford tonight. Let us see who manages to manoeuvre success to his/her favour. Good luck to all the six hounds.
