Guinness Kev geared up to assert superiority in Coral 475 (Duplicated) at Hove
Guinness Kev finally gets an ideal race to regain his winning momentum. The black and white dog will be in action in the Coral 475 (Duplicated), taking place at Hove on Thursday, April 26, 2012.
In his last appearance at Hove, he was pretty impressive. S. Cahill’s trainee had every chance to bag the winning cheque, but luck did not favour him that day.
As a result, he missed the top place by one and a half lengths. Today’s line-up is being considered as a bit weaker than the one he faced last time out.
Therefore, one can expect him to bang his opponents and steal the show tonight. According to the program, the 475 metres flat heat will be started at 21:24 GMT.
Guinness Kev will show his guts against Evo Alexander, Rebellious Cause, Millwards Alpha, Ballymac Thorn and Pretty Chilly.
Evo Alexander is another major player. After making a few unlucky trips, the white and black dog broke the shackles on April 22, when he defeated Guinness Kev comprehensively.
His major rival would look to pay back the debt with the same coin and thus, an entertaining clash is on the cards.
Evo Alexander is well capable of producing a good result, but it will be interesting to see how he manages to outsmart Guinness Kev once again.
Rebellious Cause needs a lot of luck to claim the winning cheque. In mid April, the black dog ended up third behind Verdun Richie. M. Locke’s trainee had every chance to pocket the winning prize, but he wasted the opportunity.
Ballymac Thorn possesses a 33% strike rate. At the end of last month, the black and white dog displayed a couple of fantastic performances at Hall Green.
Pretty Chilly might get outgunned in this company. Likewise, Millwards Alpha needs a huge turnaround in his form, otherwise his chances are bleak.
According to our predictions, it would be a hard battle between Evo Alexander and Guinness Kev. The latter gets our vote, as he is determined to take revenge of his recent defeat.
