Guinness Magic to bounce back in John Gibb Plastering Cup at Hove
Hove is due to stage many big events on Thursday night and John Gibb Plastering Cup is one of them. The £150 sprint is set to begin at 20:34 GMT. Taking part in the 475 metres race are: King Bradley, Guinness Magic, Mercurial Star, Jaytee Tiger, Jacksadreamer
and Kinda True.
Guinness Magic is likely to attract a lot of punters, as he is in good shape at the moment. After two comprehensive wins over 460 metres, the black dog lost his rhythm for a while, ending up third last time around.
S. Cahill’s trainee is well capable of putting his campaign back on the winning ways. Prior to his two back-to-back wins, he badly struggled at Romford last month. So, he will have to come up with a solid performance in order to avoid similar embarrassment.
King Bradley is also enjoying good odds. However, things will become complicated if he fails to get an early lead. The black dog has been struggling since winning at Wimbledon in late April.
In his most recent outing, Hondo Black’s son was outsmarted by Jaytee Tiger. The two hounds are once again up against each other and it is a great opportunity for King Bradley to dish out revenge.
Mercurial Star did well in his last outing over 480 metres. The Swindon audience saw him demonstrating a dominating performance, as he clinched the victory by four and a half lengths. Since it is a tricky contest, the black dog needs to perform out of his
skin to do well.
Jaytee Tiger, who recently defeated King Bradley, will aim to build on his recent strike. P. Young’s trainee has been running particularly well at big prices over the past few weeks.
Jacksadreamer is yet to learn the art of being consistent. If he gets a clear ride, he can do well. Kinda True is coming into this class after a fantastic A1 win. A change in grade will definitely put him under pressure.
According to our calculations, Guinness Magic and Jaytee Tiger are the two best options to bet on. The former has a slight advantage, as he has better stats. Good luck to everyone.
