This may seem like a silly question to some, but I just want to be sure: Is it safe to wear a Guinness shirt in Northern Ireland the week of the Orange parade? Ya know, 'cause Guinness is just so Irish? Thanks for the help!

  1. Of course it is. As someone else pointed out orangemen drink guinness too! Totally safe, dont worry.

  2. Don't go to Ulster in July. Simple as that.

  3. Not at all, Guiness is sold in the north and drank in the north and doesnt say anything about religion, just the drink!!! But if you feel uneasy and worry that you'll be uncomfortable wearing it dont, wear an "I love mom" shirt and you'll be grand, everyone loves their mam

  4. It's probably safer to wear a shirt that doesn't advertise anything. Troublemakers don't need a good reason to approach you or to verbally abuse you.

Wear something neutral and avoid the colours green and orange!

  5. I don't see why not.....You know the Orangemen drink Guinness too!
