Guitar/Bass Guitar Lessons?

Was wondering what the average cost is for bass guitar lessons or just guitar lessons. I've been quoted on 20 bucks for half an hour. Is that reasonable?

It really depends on where you live and your teacher's experience.  In major metro area expect $20- $25 an half hour.  Less where the cost of living is lower.  If your teacher has a lot of experience (education, touring, etc.) expect to pay a lot more.
