Treble - is the amount of high end in the sound. High settings of this will make the sound very sharp and crisp. It will make finger and string noise louder and make it scratchier. Usual set around 5-6, be careful with higher settings as it can make to sound too harsh or just unpleasant.

And What Is 5-6

  1. The numbers by the k**b on the amp. like 1 thru 10

  2. treble makes the guitar sound higher. bass makes it sound lower.

treble is mainly used when playing lead riffs etc.

5-6 means the tone of the treble 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.

i put mine to 9-10 because i love to play high pitched riffs.

usually use treble when playing rock and roll kind of songs and lead parts. the bass part is when you need to get that "ggggg" sound in a metal song.
