Guitar Question distortion and wah

ok im buying a wah wah pedal. im thinking a original crybaby. i have distortion on the amp which i use. if i get the wah wah do i need a separate pedal for distortion, or can i still use the amps distortion?

i have a peavey, crate, and fender amp, and a ibanez and fender guitar.

you can use the guitar amp distortion with the cry baby pedal, just plug your guitar into the pedal (input) and run another cord from the pedal (output) to the giutar amp and vwalla, your good to go mrs. hendrix!
