  1. It is never too late to learn. Most colleges offer guitar and piano classes, which I would definitely recommend.

Get a cheap but good quality nylon string acoustic. I like Sunlite as a brand. My Sunlite has lasted me 5 years.

  2. evn at 65 u can start lrning

basically u shud hve willpower nd u can do anythin

u can lern 2 play them at any music classes near ur house nd u can get the matrials frm online shoppin or any instruments shop

the guitar shud be the original guitar ven startin 2 lern but as u lrn u can advance to the electronic guitar

    best of luck

  3. for your first question... Nope! Age doesn't and would not matter if you really want to learn something. You just have to load yourself a lot of patience and determination.

Second... you can teach yourself by watching guitar or piano tutorials in youtube. You can also buy guitar/piano lesson books for beginners in any bookstore or music store. You can also enroll to music schools that offer guitar/piano lessons. or get a tutor that can teach you how to play guitar/piano.

Third... Depends on what you want to learn. bass guitar or rhythm or lead guitar. acoustic or electric. but for starters i think you should just get a classic acoustic guitar with nylon strings. Playing the guitar or any kind of music instrument should be fun. So go for the one that you're comfortable to play with.

    Good luck! :)

  4. 1 NEVER too late to learn!!!!  my mom took lessons when she was 45! = )

2  online there r a ton of resources......especially for guitar......but it depends on why u want to learn......if u r wanting to be able to play a few songs or wanting to learn to play impossible classical music or ???  depending on ur answer u may want to invest in some lessons......they really r not that expensive and a lot of the time a little teaching in the beginning is really helpful even if u just want to play around on piano and guitar

3  sorry cant help....something inexpensive but get good quality stings......your fingers will thank you for not getting the cheap steel ones!!!!

  5. 1. No, 20 ain't bad and it's not too old..

    2. Here are sites to help you, Piano: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Pia...

    Guitar: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&newwi...

    3. For a beginner, It's acoustic and inexpensive one, If your a professional then buy the expensive one and something that has a great tune (The tune is the important thing in the guitar)

    Hope i helped!!

  6. Decide if you want to play classical guitar or whether you just want to be able to play some chords which is great as well. No it's not too late at all, if anything you will progress far more quickly than younger students. I suggest you take just one of them, preferably piano as once you can play the piano it is so much easier to pick up other instruments. You should find a teacher that teaches classical piano. Be prepared to do alot of exercise work such as scales, believe me, while it seems pointless, it isn't. Maybe try teaching yourself for a few months just so as you know this isn't just a passing phase, from a childrens book you will find in any music store, then go for the teacher
