  1. Hi E-girl

That Ovation is an Acoustic Electric model wich a slightly shorter neck than most normal classical guitars.

As far as saying that Ovation is not a good company is pushing it a little. They innovated the guitar industry with their fiberglass back.

The only draw back to Ovation is that when you are sitting down, they tend to slip and are slightly awkward. But on this model, it ihas a shallow bowl so not as bad.

The guitar is discontinued and was selling for $1250 originally. So, you can ask between $700-800  if it is in excellent condition.

The guitar has an excellent cedar top.

  2. I don't know how close this is, but it might help.

  3. 600-800 USD is about what it would go for. Ovations generally do not have much resale value because they don't use expensive back and side woods (rosewood, koa, etc) like other brands do. Also notable classical guitars are sought after are made in Spain (Ramirez, Alhambra, Cervantes, etc) or even like Mexico (Huipe, Abu Garcia). A big deal breaker for ovations that I've seen is that the finish that they use on their tops tend to develop cracks  by the saddle.

  4. Ovation is not such a good guitar company but because it is so old I would say $600-$800
