Guitar frets?

what size do you prefer, and is therre a big difference in guitar sound/playing between different sizes?

  1. i personally enjoy medium jumbo, but i've found that anything larger usually works fine.  it generally holds that the larger the frets, the punchier the sound is, the smaller the frets the more precise the intonation.  large frets also make for easier bending, but smaller frets don't allow for overbending (so that it brings the string out of tune).

    I use capos alot, so I usually don't like to go too large.


  2. I prefer medium jumbo.  They are wide and pretty high, but not too high.  They just seem easy to play and bend on and everything, without being too big.  I don't like small fret wire as it feels like it is constantly disappearing to me.

  3. they difference is not about the frets its the guitar itself. but when it comes to frets its all about preference. For lead guitar i like the jumbo frets because they are nice and comfortable on the hand, for rhythm guitar i like regular frets because i like to use chord variants, triads and power chords and i'm a pretty small guy so the rhythm i like to use smaller frets. but overall i like jumbos.
