my guitar teacher left the country and i have noting to work over now is there any helpful books and sites that will help me thanks.

If you have a Guitar Center or Sam's Ash Music store nearby go there.  They have tons of music books and instructional DVDs.

If not, go to Musiciansfriend.com and click on the instructional books/Videos area.
