Guitar help ?!?!?

ok i know nothing about guitars ..

my guitar has some idk thing on the side it has like sliders and a round volume turner thing the sliders are for bass midd. and treb. and i requires batters im guessing cause this little thing comes out of it and you put the batteries in and like push it back in O.o lolz ok so the question is i have no idead what tpe/sizeof batteries im supposed to use??

Open the battery casing and take a look. It's probably a 9 volt.
