Guitar help?????????????????any one who plays guitar....?

ok sooo I'm trying to play iron man but i cant play any of the solos......any ideas how i can learn the and fast or how i can get my fingers to move faster....i no practice makes perfect but i have and i not much better

well,i learned to play guitar all by myself,and yeah,is very hard at the begining,but just try the solos piece by piece,i mean,not chord by chord,i mean that you divide the solo in pieces,and keep repeating those pieces until you can handle them a lil' bit more easily,i did such a thing with Dark chest of wonders by nightwish and also tutankhamen...the song you say is the cardigans?...anyway,try as i told you,i know is hard and very stressful but you'll come to do it...

iron man is based on the b natural minor scale.   it is called aeolian mode. if you learn it you will know how to play the song solo and all. as for making your fingers fast. exercize them by playing and play the same thing over and over will make you faster. look at www.all-guitar-chords.com and click scales to find it.

I'm a self taught guitar player. I play mostly power chords though i do try leads sometimes.

One trick a friend told me, for playing faster, is to try and not bounce your fingers around, keep them close to the strings. If you watch good guitar players often it looks like their fingers barely move.

one thing people often overlook it that when learning a song, it's okay to slow way down.  take your time.  learn the solos note by note and slowly put the whole solo together.  before you know it, you'll have all the notes under your fingers and you'll be amazed how you start to speed up as you go over and over it.  good luck.

sometimes it seems that it takes longer than it should to learn something, it happens to us all, you just hang in there with persistence and it will come around. Even taking a break from it for a day or so can help when you come back to it. Practice slow and clean and then increase speed. Try hammer ons and pull offs as an finger exersise up and down the strings and the fretboard, it will come around also.
