Guitar learning question help please?

If i been playing the guitar for 2 years and i say i am self taught but youtube taught me so am i self taught or taught. Because i think if you learn off of youtube, youtube taught you?

If you learned how to play the guitar without anybody looking over your shoulder and giving you sugestions then you are self taught. BE PROUD WALK TALL!

If you're sitting and watching someone, who is telling you where to place your fingers -- even online -- then someone else taught you.  If you're learning like my son did, through listening to CDs or other forms of recorded music and figuring it out on your own where to place your fingers and whether to pick or strum, then you're self taught.  Otherwise, he could tell everyone Eric Clapton taught him how to play.
