Guitar lessons and how-to?

I'm a beginner at guitar- one week? I can't get a teacher at the moment...So what do you reccomend I do? I've learned thes chords: C,A,G,E,D,D7,G9,Em, and I'm working on F#m and B. I know how to play the intro to never too late by three days grace. I know a few kiddie songs...What should I learn...Not only songs but anything I should practice or any important techniques? I'm having a hard time with barring. But I still need to build finger strength a bit...Question: If you're learning an acoustic does that mean you're easily able to play electric? Because people always say they can play both...or only one...so if you learn one is the other something a bit different to learn or...?

You sound like too anxious to learn lots in a short period of time. For one week I think you're doing excellent job by learning many chords. Remember "Practice makes perfect".
