Guitar or Xbox 360 for Christmas?

Question

Ok well I used to have an Xbox 360 but it got the red rings and died on me xD. I've narrowed down my choices to an Xbox 360 or an electric guitar of some type. I want to play guitar because I love music and I already play flute so I can read music and I'm inspired by Avenged Sevenfold. I'm a little afraid to buy another Xbox 360 because it could die again. Which should I get and why?

i thought you could ship it to microsoft and they would fix it for free.... and if you can't if you get one that was made earlier this year you should have no problem with the red ring of death unless you play for like 24 hours straight with no ventelation for it...

You need to prioritize. Which would you spend the most time and fun doing? An Xbox 360 (which died on you previously) or an electric guitar which you can use to express your passion for music. Only you can make the decision but if I was in your situation, given the facts you have told me I would go with the guitar. That way I can play music, write songs and generally enjoy the music experience.
