Guitar question. please help!!!?

ok i want to get a B.C. Rich Celtic Virgo electric guitar. and i want to know if i can install tremolo on it. or if i have to buy one with tremolo already on it. please help i need to make a decision.

  1. like above, you can do anything to a guitar!

    But I do prefer factory oens...as my mate fitted his own and, well, lets say its not great. I prefer my one to be honest.


  2. A good rule of thumb is to always try to get a factory installed tremelo.  Retro fitting a Floyd Rose or whatever is never as smooth as it seems.

  3. u can do anything to a guitar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    however to install a tremolo on a guitar that doesnt have one, is a complicated and expensive process, so you are probably better off to get one with a tremolo!

    to install a trmolo on a guitar without one u wound  need to replace the whole bridge into a bridge made for a tremolo, and you might even have to drill new wholes into the guitar to put that bridge into it

    if you really love that bc rich, and u think it would be hard to get a different guitar then go for it! just dont change the bridge yourself, get a proffesional guitar repair guy to do it for you, it will be pricy though
