Guitar speed?

Hi, i play an electric guitar... I would like to know what to do to improve my speed fotr playing... I know i have to practice, but what to practice? Can you give me some tips, excersices, lessons that will help me become better and faster at playing?

( I just want to improve my speed... If it works, my fingering is right!!)

you want speed get a metronome.....it may be boring as h**l ....but it works

Get a JS Bach piece, there is no end to how fast you can play that.

well, what i did in order to learn how to sweep was that i took a simple arpeggio and practiced it until i had it sweeping.

start with one that have no pulls or hamms. then add one, another and so forth

another very important thing is that you play alternating your picking. it basically doubles your speed once you have it down, and its the right way.

and get a metronome

Use at least a .71 mm pick and choke up on it...always play relaxed
