during his first Premier League campaign, he struggled with his form during the preceding term and failed to consolidate his place in the Toffees starting eleven. He represented the Merseyside club in 41 games and managed to score just 3 goals.
With the midfielder facing uncertainty over his possible future destination due to his manifest recent struggles at Goodison Park, some reports have surfaced that he will be on his way out from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 during the transfer window. However, Hongbo revealed that the only reason why Cahill was seen in the stands was that he received an invitation from the club to watch the game, and no transfer related developments were linked with his presence in the stadium.
Nonetheless, he admitted that the player had earlier established links with the Chinese outfit and that he would love to see Cahill working for him next year.
He told the reporters, “I hope he could be interested in our club, and we wish we could find him in the pitch next year. The club actually had negotiations with Tim Cahill, but failed to reach an agreement. There were some technical problems, so Mr Cahill
visits Guizhou this time. We really hope he could be interested in Guiyang and our club.”
Other than Renhe, Cahill has also drawn interest from the Saudi Arabian outfit, Al Nasr.
