Gulbladder? My aunt's is removed?

okay, so yesterday my aunt went to the hospital for server stomach pains. there is something with her gulbladder. what the heck does a gulbladder do?

  1. It's Gallbladder. It produces bile to digest your food.  If you have STONES which she does, you need to get it removed. The pain is equivalent to a heart attack.

    Your liver takes over the function of your gallbladder once it's removed.  Most people cannot tolerate fatty and greasy foods after gallbladder surgery, which is perhaps a great thing in itself.
