i just got my braces off and now have to wear retainers, i chewed gum the entire time i had braces on with no problem, now that i have the retainers though, i forget to take them out before i chew gum, so i was chewing gum today, and kinda got some stuck on my retainer, so i was wondering how can i get it off?? i tried scrubing it off, am now attempting to freeze it off (it works with hair) and if that doesn't work, peanut butter and eventually, scrubbing again, so, i was looking for a quick way to ge it off, any help??

  1. peanut butter is suppse to help get gum out of your hair so i guess you could try using peanut butter again

if it still doesn't work try using warm water to get it out

  2. Don't freeze it, it could make it  too brittle and may break easily. I would try the peanut butter. Be patient. the peanut butter should  work. Just slowly work at it.

  3. Peanut butter. Something in peanut butter breaks down gum. so if you rub peanut butter on it for a while, then wash it off, it should work.

  4. I hear peanut butter works if you get gum in hair.

  5. smart

    haha peanut butter

  6. Use a cotton with alcohol on it. The best thing. If it doesn't come out, do not attempt to use other products because they might be harmful since you are putting the retainer in your mouth. Instead, take it to your dentist and he can clean it with a sound blast or something.

    Do not use peanut butter.

Hair? You sometimes have hair stuck on your retainer??
