What are those brand name gums that are good for the teeth? They are made by tooth past companies I think.

  1. Of course, you should only chew sugar free gums.

However, when you're "chewsing" (ha ha) a gum, look for one that contains 'xylitol.' Xylitol is a sugar alcohol that has been shown to actually REVERSE decay. Meaning: If you have a weak spot in your emamel that is the start of a cavity, chewing a gum containing xylitol could help prevent that area from becoming a full-blown cavity. Pretty nifty, right? (Side note: Xylitol does other good stuff too. In studies, it has been shown to cure ear infections in infants... Just a little trivia for you)

  2. Trident 'White"

  3. Chewing gum is actually good for your teeth. It cleans the teeth a little and it stimulates the flow of saliva which helps fight tooth decay.
