Gummy pizza dough...what did I do wrong?

Last night I made two batches of homemade pizza dough. The first batch came out perfect. The second batch was sticky and gummy. I used the same ingredients and same measurements. I tried adding a little more flour but the consistency still was just not right so I tossed it.

Any thoughts? Could I have saved my bad dough?

  1. I would have worked the dough a bit on a floured board to soften it and increase the elasticity.  

    Without realizing it, you probably added a little more water or less flour.  


  2. probably forgot to add something or something like that it happens to all people at some time or another.... so dont worry about it and try again

  3. More flour would have fixed it.
