I've heard from a couple people that a kid is planning on bringing a gun to school tomorrow. Kids have reported it to some hotline number. Alot of kids are planning to just not go tomorrow. I have no idea what to do, or if i should go to school or not. What should I do? what would you do?

  1. Stay home. Just for your safety.

    Best of luck.=]

  2. just stay home

    that's what I would do

  3. I would have called the hotline number as well and I would not go. Safety and life is more important and it is better to be safe than sorry.

  4. i wouldn't go. tell your parents and/or the principal/counseler at your school.

    :)

  5. tell an adult or teacher as soon as possible! if there is a problem and there are no adults around then you know what to do! call 911!

  6. If they don't cancel school then you need to stay at home. That is not a joke. Your safety comes first and that's all there is to it.

  7. Your Mom needs to call the school in the morning to see if they are having it.  You need to be prepared to attend if they are.

Situations like this need to be taken seriously.  Let the adults do what they get paid to do.  Protect your life.

We just had 3 days off from school-all schools- for tropical storms.  Glad we did.

  8. Don't go to school tomorrow and call the police, better be safe than sorry.

  9. Don;t go.  Better be safe then sorry.

  10. i wouldnt go..please tell your parents..they should want you to stay home aswell..besides, one day of missed school never hurt anyone..

  11. i wouldn't go to school

    and hopfuly they cancel it

  12. definately don't go im betting a bunch of people won't show up especially if they told their parents just be safe and stay home

  13. Well, from the sound of it, it seems like a JOKE.If somebody is really going to shoot up their school, they are not going to call in a threat.Think about it..if someone wants to shoot up their school, they want to kill.If everyone stays home, there will be limited people to kill...they will more than likely do it without notice.

Just dumb asses not wanting to go to school and making up pathetic threats.

The teachers are going to be very cautious.I doubt they would close the school..if that was the case, these threats would pour in every year.

  14. This has been happening forever... my mom would always let me stay home on those days just in case. I will do the same for my children. It is better to be safe.

Edit: Ugh, this question really hit home. I feel sick to my stomach and my head is swimming with thoughts about homeschooling my kids now. Please, take this seriously and stay home.

  15. When this happens at my school I take it very seriously. Don't go to school. Rather be safe than sorry.

  16. Do not go to school tomorrow until you know that it is safe

That was a great idea for whoever called the hotline and told their parents. That is absolutely the smartest thing to do.

Even if the kid was joking, why take the risk of going?

  17. id call the school and let them know

i know it may seem uncool but you need to tell them who this kid is or he could really hurt himself and others

i would deff not go tmrw

    this kid needs help

  18. I wouldn't go ,

just for your own safety .

Maybe get your parents to call the hot line for you too .

    That's a scary and dangerous situation ,

and even if it's not true you still don't want the situation to happen .
