Gundam kit marker?

I have those gundam markers, which is set of 6 colors. What should the markers used on? Do I color the piece that was already red to red again? Is the function as same as model spray paint?

I think it's better if you use a different kind of paint for models. Mainly because Gundam Markers aren't the highest quality.
