Gunners’ coach awarded accolade “World Coach of the Decade”
Frenchman Arsene Wenger has been declared World Coach of the Decade, after competing hard with the likes of Jose Mourniho and Sir Alex Fergurson. The accolade has been awarded by The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS). Even
though Arsenal has not won any silverware for the last six seasons under the reign of Arsene Wenger, but still statistics show the brilliance of the coach. An IFFHS official while praising Arsene Wenger said "Although the Frenchman has until now never won
the annual vote, he has been among the best-placed coaches every year.”
He continued saying, “It is admirable how he has repeatedly moulded young players into an attacking and technically brilliant way of play." There is no doubt about the fact that Wenger has been polishing raw talent into the world class players. Over the
years, his mission remains to develop a team and he has succeeded in his aims. His scouts are doing excellent work for him to find young talent around the globe, and then at Arsenal, Wenger sparkles these players to reach the crescendos.

coach; however the players still enchant him as a great manager.
Wenger grabbed 156 points, where as Sir Alex Ferguson of Manchester United earned 148 and Real Madrid’s coach Jose Mourinho earned 135 points.
