Arsenal are not going to break the bank and offer http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 a ridiculous salary to stick around at the club.
With Van Persie still no certain on just what he wants to do in the future, many people assumed that the club might go on and offer the player a ridiculous wage, just to keep him around.
However, that doesn’t seem to be the case, since the club have made it rather clear that they aren’t going to go all out on Van Persie and will offer him a decent contract and in the end, it would be up to the player to decide just what he wants to do.
Peter Hill-Wood, when talking about the clubs plans and ambitions is quoted to have said:  “He is vital to us and has been an extremely good captain”
“But if somebody comes along and offers Robin £250,000 a week then I am afraid we cannot compete with that.”
“With players, you never know what they are going to do.
“Some players say they want silverware but when they have the chance to earn extraordinary money that has been pumped into the game, then you just have to hope they will stay because they are happy and loyal where they are."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 to add some fire power to their attack force. The team is currently looking to pursue the capture of Montpellier forward Giroud and should he also come into the side, then Van Persie might actually reconsider
his options.
The player’s major complaint was the fact that he felt the team wasn’t showing enough ambition. However, with the team making all these signings left and right, it is more than apparent that they have finally learned from their mistakes and are now looking
to remedy the situation.
Nonetheless, Arsenal really need to step up their activities in the transfer market and secure all the signings that they want to make, in order to convince their senior players to stick around.
It is now a wait to find out just what Van Persie wants to do with his future and if he is going to stick around at the Emirates.
