If you read this book I need your help really understanding chapter 18:"Hemispheres Colliding" like giving me more in-depth details. Thanks for answering or giving me any help, its greatly appreciated!:)

   I've listed a webiste that summarizes the book. I don't have my copy at hand, and it's been a couple of years since I've read it. From the summary, the book explains why the technology of the New World civilizations was unable to compete against that of the Europeans. Without large domestic animals to provide power to transport goods or power simple equipment like mills, the New World cultures didn't develop calvary, or have the mobility of the invaders.  Sorry I can't help more, at least not till I can get home to check out the whole chapter myself.
