both are very good albums, but i think appetite has a little more depth

I would definitely have to go with GNR - Appetite is a GREAT album.  Not a big Perl Jam fan at all!!

This isn't by any means an easy question because both albums are excellent and important to music, but Appetite For Destruction was pretty much a flawless album. Too bad they couldn't keep it up.

While Ten WAS the only relatively decent album Pearl Jam ever made... its like comparing a cheap hotel painting to Picasso.

Ten, because Appetite fades after the top three songs or so.  Ten is more consistent, and it's hard to top "Even Flow", "Alive", "Jeremy", and "Once".
