  1. You want to seperate the pregnant fish, and when the babies are born, the mothers need to be separated from them. You need to keep an eye on all of them.

  2. separate the guppies from themselves and the other fish, because they'll eat the babies, also get a breeder its made for whaen the guppies give birth, the babies naturally stay at the bottom, in the breeder, the mom cant get to the, also when they are born, move the babies to the five gallon tank

  3. You will eventually need a larger tank (around a 20) if you want to keep all the surviving fry (babies).

I would put the mommas in the 5 and make sure it has tons of hiding places for the fry (in the form of caves, plants, etc.), so the fry have optimal survival rates. When a female drops her fry (a.k.a. gives birth) she'll be pretty exhausted. You should put any female that looks skinnier (when in the presence of the fry) into a net breeder, where she can relax and stay away from any males eager to mate again (if you have any). If there are no males whatsoever you can just put her back in the main 10 gallon tank.

Continue to do this until all the females have given birth. By that time, you will have lots and lots of fry swimming around the 5 gallon tank. You can feed them powdered flake foods, or encourage the growth of algae on the sides of the tank to help supplement the fry. In two weeks, give or take, they will be able to coexist with full grown guppies without being eaten, but you will need a bigger tank before that happens.

It's merely a game of trial and error, and just be cautious when doing water changes to avoid sucking up some babies.

  4. You should bring out the other tank and put the pregnant guppies in their simply because the guppies WILL eat the babies (fry).

The best bet would be to go to your local pet store and place a breeders box (it looks like a box with nets for sides) that can help you isolate the fish from the mothers.

Once all those fish are grown however, you're going to need to get a bigger tank to house all of them together.  Most likely a 20+ gallon tank depending on how many of the fry survive.

  5. keep the fish in a 10gal

set up the 5gal with water and leave it if u have asmall filtor thats great

so when the female give birth put the fry in the 5gal so they are safe
