I think you are referring to Gewürztraminer Wine.  It is a type of wine grape and creates a sweeter tasting white wine.

Gewurtstraminer is a type of wine varietal. It tends to be a rather spicy white wine. There are a lot of California Gewurstraminers that should be fairly well distributed, but try and find a German one if you can. Check the phone book and see if there are any wine or liquor shops around, you're bound to find a few that carry some.
