Gurtnacrehy Myth prevalent in the RGOA Members Trophy Race at Romford
The Grade A1 RGOA Members Trophy Race will be hosted by Romford over 400 metres flat on Wednesday, 30th May. The £135 prize money will get contested by Maggies Rocket, Alis Valley, Regal Mystic, Gurtnacrehy Myth, Rapid College and Dreams Cometrue.
Leading the line-up is Gurtnacrehy Myth, Droopys Vieri’s two-year-old black son out of b***h, Killeagh Maggie. He bagged his seasonal debut on 28th January over 550 yards and then got drilled over 400 metres at Romford, a distance over which he
rushed through in 24.79 seconds.
After the training session, he tossed in two second scores.
On 3rd April, he finished a 400 metres race at Romford right after the winner, Big Step, was done with it in 24.01 seconds. He was left adrift by six and a half lengths.
The very next race was won by Herecomestiger who completed the 400 metres trip in 24.42 seconds at Romford on 10th April and led Gurtnacrehy Myth, by four and a half lengths.
The two-year-old failed in the next two races by finishing fifth and then ending third.
His second career win was in a Grade A3 400 metres flat at Romford on 5th May. The 7/4 favourite completed the track distance in 24.39 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Strattons Josie, by six lengths.
She was done racing in 24.87 seconds and was soon joined by Leaha Dominus.
He then won a Grade A2 400 metres at Romford on 14th May. He made it to the other end of the wire in 24.61 seconds and led the runner up, Your The Tops, by 2 ¾ lengths.
The runner up went through the wire in 24.83 seconds while the 5/4 favourite of the race, Maureens Mystery, ended fifth after racing for 25.13 seconds.
He could not strike a seasonal hat trick as he ended third in the very next race at Romford over 400 metres on 19th May. He has not driven down the ladder to a miserable extent and still has the potential and ability to pull himself up on the
performance bar.
He leads with the chances of capturing the race tonight.
