Gus Poyet claims Luis Suarez should not play for any other side in England – Football News

Former Uruguayan international, Gus Poyet, has admitted that Luis Suarez should either stay at Liverpool or he should leave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749. The retired midfielder stated that the Reds striker will make his life miserable if he leaves
Liverpool for any other club in England.

Poyet stated that Suarez has had problems with the media and described this as a major reason to leave the club this summer. However, joining Arsenal would not solve that problem and Suarez would be under constant threat from the
media over his behaviour.
“If I was Suarez, I would either stay at Liverpool or leave England for good. Him going to Arsenal won't change a thing. If he wants to move, it's probably because of the way the media treats him as a Liverpool player, but that
won't change if he moves to another club in England,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Tottenham Hotspur player stated that Suarez is only thinking about playing in the UEFA Champions League and for that, he can move to a big club outside England. Poyet insisted that only a move away from England
will help the player’s cause otherwise he will be constantly be disturbed by the media.
“If it's just for the sake of playing in the Champions League [possible Arsenal move], well, that's up to Luis to decide. I'd stay put at Liverpool or leave England all together,” he concluded.
Poyet also praised Suarez for his performances last season and admitted that he lifted a mediocre Liverpool side.
“Liverpool, with all due respect, were a mediocre team last season, but Luis showed a great level,” Poyet stated.
