Gustav evacuees? New Orleans Fleers?

I am prepared to welcome a small family (single mom or dad w/ small children or a couple of individuals) that are fleeing the New Orleans area and coming to the Memphis area, and in need of a place to stay until it is safe to return to New Orleans at NO CHARGE!!! One of the great things about America is the generosity of individual Americans in times of trouble. No place else on earth does it like we do.

Here in Tyler Texas (pop 90,000) our community housed and fed over 10,000 Katrina refugees. This time we've already taken in several thousand fleeing Gustav with thousands more on the way.

That's very sweet of you. Add a detail if you're getting any emails from people. That's pretty cool. However, I doubt anyone will be on the computer right now in that area.

If no one contacts you the are probably in transit. I know allot of people are taking the free transportation to Memphis. Perhaps you should call a local shelter or go to the bus depot. I'm sure there is some pregnant lady or disabled person who would appreciate a bit more comfort that the shelters can provide.
