Levante defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gustavo-Cabral-c15413, has stated his disappointment on the quality of refereeing in Sunday’s match between Real Madrid and Levante.
The 26-year-old argued that the match officials were biased and chose to forego several incidents in the game where Los Blancos deserved to be penalized.
The defender believes that Los Granotas were the better side during the game and deserved to take all three points from the heated fixture but were unable to do so because the referee was unfair while conducting the game.
Real Madrid played hosts to Levante this past Sunday in what was expected to be a heavily competitive fixture. The match held great importance for Jose Mourinho’s men as they were looking to increase their advantage over Barcelona at the top of the Spanish
Primera’s league standings.
Barca had lost their respective game against Osasuna the previous night. Osasuna were able to beat the Spanish Champions with the final score-line 3-2, hence pulling off a significant upset in La Liga. The Catalans were left disappointed as their defeat
gave Madrid the chance to go 10 points clear at the top of the points table.
To the joy of the Santiago Bernabeu faithful, the Spanish Giants managed to take full advantage of the situation as they emerged victorious against Levante.
However, Cabral has insisted that the Valencia-based club ought to have won the match, as they were able to perform brilliantly.
Interestingly, the visitors were the first team to score in the match and did actually put a fabulous show of football, but they were not good enough to stop the hosts from making a comeback.
Despite conceding a goal, Madrid retaliated and were up by two goals before the hour mark.

While talking to EFE, the defender quoted:
“Here in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, a huge importance was given to the fact that Madrid could go 10 points clear of Barcelona. The referee was on Madrid's side. There were many errors which hurt us and yes, we can say that we were robbed.”
"Iborra's sending off hurt us, it would have been a different match without that. Madrid piled the pressure on us with one more man on the pitch.”
Levante are currently fourth in the Spanish Primera, level on points with Espanyol and only a point ahead of sixth-placed Atletico Madrid.
