The Bayern Munich midfielder has insisted that the Reds are not favourites against Marseille ahead of the first-leg of the quarter-final at the Stade Velodrome.

before Bayern host the Ligue 1 side for the return fixture on Tuesday, April 3.
The defensive midfielder mentioned that Bayern must not take this game easy and should try achieving a win away from home. He confirmed that no side could be regarded favourites at this stage of the competition despite Marseille’s
horrible run in their past nine games in all competitions.
However, he admitted that Bayern are a much settled unit than their opponents and are capable of winning the clash in France. He mused that the Munich giants must respect the Ligue 1 side irrespective of their recent slump in form.
While talking to sports website, Goal.com, the 24-year-old further added: "Sure, we want to win. But we are not favourites. In such a late stage of the tournament, there are no more favourites. Every team has a lot of quality and
each team wants to get ahead."
Gustavo insisted that the Bavarians must focus on playing good football and should believe in themselves. He admired Marseille’s quality and admits that the Stade Velodrome outfit could be a serious threat if they are provided
with the scoring opportunities.
