Gut feeling and twin pregnancy?

I am newly pregnant with my third child. I knew for sure I was pregnant about 4 days after conception because of the crampy feeling I was experiencing (mostly in the evenings when I was lying still). I had implantation bleeding for the first time. I can't say I am hoping for twins but I just cant get this idea out of my head. In fact I would be surprised to only hear its a singleton. I am 35 and we are not aware of twins in our family. Has anyone else had their "hunch" confirmed?

I'm on my third at 35 wks and I got big so fast i swore i was having twins. But no just 1.

perhaps you are right...altho i thought i was having a boy...i would have bet on it, but no...having a girl (and happy about that!)

Yes.  Just had a feeling..  I could nt put my finger on it...  maybe it was the showing at 6 weeks, or getting morning sickness very early on, but it just "felt" like I was much much more aware of what was going on..

And it was confirmed at scan, with no increased risk factors (no family history, meds, etc..)  strange..

However had they said signleton - I probably would not have looked back at the earlier symptoms with the benefit of hindsight and it was still a bit of a shock at that first scan (12 weeks).
