Newcastle United midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonas-c18967 Gutierrez is excited to see up-and-coming youngsters joining the senior Magpie set up and has urged them to ‘seize the day’ this season by proving that they are indeed the future of the club.
The Argentine winger was part of the Newcastle squad that travelled to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984.
Newcastle manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Demba-Ba-c10812 and Papiss Demba Cisse to the squadlast year and is still in the market for established international players.
The clubs is currently in the process of securing the services of Frenchman http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mathieu-Debuchy-c24682 from former French champions Lille. The right-back has himself pointed Newcastle out as his number one priority and said that he wished to join them this season.
Another player on Newcastle’s radar is FC Twente’s Brazilian centre-half http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Douglas-c11600. The club are expected to finalise a deal for the player by the end of this week as Pardew looks to strengthen his squad.
However, it is the addition of the three youngsters which excites Gutierrez. The Argentine is looking forward to the development of these players who are expected to play a part in the club competitions next season.
Curtis Good, Gael Bigirimana and Romain Amalfitano have joined the likes of Haris Vuckic, Sammy Ameobi and James Tavernier to form a very impressive, talented and promising group of young players that will one day be the club’s future.
Gutierrez believes these players have the potential to pave their way into the first team and is looking forward to guiding them wherever he can. Speaking to the press, he said:
“I am happy to be one of the senior men. The years go by and you grow up which is good. Now we have a lot of young players in the squad so it is good to have a chat with them.”
“They have to learn about the Premier League but from working with them I can say that they have a really, really good future. We have a big group of young players so if they learn and try to improve, they can be very big in the future for Newcastle United.”
