The Argentinian midfielder is one of the senior most players in the squad, and has proven to be one of the most integral and effective Newcastle players over the seasons.
The player has said that life at Newcastle suits him down to the ground, and he is perfectly happy and content with affairs at the club. The player joined the club in 2008 and has experienced both highs and lows with the Tyneside outfit.

Newcastle have hit a slump recently, winning only 2 league games out of the last 10. The club has dropped down to 14th spot on the league table, and are only 2 points adrift of the drop zone. From top 4 contenders, the Magpies have gone down to

Speaking to local press and reporters, the player said:
“I love it at Newcastle. We had stability in our first season back and finished 11th, then we got fifth place which was fantastic and we qualified for Europe, which the club has not done for a while.”
“We have done a great http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 in the Europa League to qualify for the next round but it has been hard in the league. The team has deserved to win the last three games and we have players back now, which is important. Maybe we had more luck last year and we have
to refocus and work hard to get results now."
Newcastle will host champions Manchester City at St. James' Park this weekend. With both teams fresh from defeats, the game is set to be a thrilling encounter as both sides target 3 points.
