Guus Hiddink might just join Chelsea after all – Premier League Update
Following weeks of rumours and speculations, Guus Hiddink has still refused to banish the links stating that a return to Chelsea, was still in the cards for the manager. The manager has now gone ahead and stated, that to him, the routine that a manager has
with club football, is a whole lot more interesting that the ones international managers have.
In his latest flurry of comments, Hiddink has now suggested that he could potentially be willing to work as Turkey manager and be the new Chelsea boss at the same time.
The manager is quoted to have said:"I feel energetic, so a club role is more preferable”
“And that's what I like, working every day. I feel I need to do more.
“I've trained http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 and Chelsea, and I was very happy. We'll see what happens with Turkey.”
However, the manager then turned his attention to Chelsea and stated that there was nothing official as yet, but anything could happen in the near future.
The manager then went on to add: “There is no official offer yet, but I can't guarantee anything”
"I never told anybody I was going to continue working here (http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026).”
“The team is focused on me, I would affect the team negatively if I answered the speculation.”
At the moment, Hiddink is still the favourite to land the role as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager. Hiddink has previously been a temporary manager for the team, which saw him manage the Blues for five months and in those five months, he went on to win the hearts of almost
every Chelsea fan.
The manager has the tendency to get the best out of his team and he also helps his squads play some of the best, most attacking football there is.
When Carlo Ancelotti was given the boot, many believed that the main reason for that was because Roman Abramovich had already come to an agreement with Hiddink, which would see him come into the side.
According to most experts, the possibilities of Hiddink joining Chelsea are now much higher than they were a couple of days ago. The manager’s comments, if anything are leading up to the fact that he is going to be joining Chelsea.
Now, the only question that remains is if the manager is going to stick around till the end of the year with Turkey and join Chelsea then, or if he is going to abandon the national team and join Chelsea at the start of the Premier League season. Unless the
manager can convince both teams, that he can manage both Turkey and Chelsea simultaneously.
