The Dutch tactician believes Anzhi Makhachkala’s 5-2 win in the latest round of Russian Premier League will help them in the UEFA Europa League campaign

In aftermath of the outcome, Guus Hiddink has hailed his side’s excellent display and singled out Lassana Diarra’s eye-catching display against the black-greens, saying that the French midfielder impressed him.
Anzhi became the first Russian side to conclude a business with Real Madrid after winning the race to sign the prolific midfielder from Los Blancos, despite strong interest from a host of top European clubs this summer.

“Our team likes to play attacking football. We started the match very well, made the score line 3-0 in the opening 15 minutes of the match. In the second half we were operating normally, with the exception of one error in the defence. In
general, I am very happy that the team has played well.” The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 FC coach was quoted as saying.
Hiddink insisted that his side needs to work hard defensively, telling that his team does not fully understand that small mistakes can lead to big problems.
Commenting on Zhirkov, who came on as a second-half substitute for Oleg Shatov, Hiddink said that the Russian stopper did not start the match because he wanted to save Zhirkov for the upcoming UEFA Europa League group stage match
against Udinese on Thursday.
The Makhachkala-based club have been drawn against Udinese, Young Boys and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 FC in the group stages of the European tournament.
