Guus Hiddink has become the fourth famed European head coach to join the Russian Premier League, after accepting a lucrative offer from Anzhi Makhachkala’s Suleyman Kerimov.
Ruud Gullit and d**k Advocaat had earlier tested their fate in Russia, coaching Terek Grozny and Zenit St. Petersburg previously. Luciano Spalletti, former AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 manager, is still enjoying a decent spell at the St. Petersburg
club.
Hiddink has reportedly signed a two-year contract with the mega-rich ambitious Russian club. According to various sources, the former Chelsea FC manager will be earning a massive 10 million Euros salary per year.
The 65-year-old was without a team following his sacking from the Turkish national team. under his charge, the 2002 World Cup semi-finalists failed to qualify for the Euro 2012 finals. 
Kerimov, on the other hand, had been looking for Yuri Krasnozhan’s replacement, who had earlier resigned from his managerial post at Makhachkala stadium. The former England boss, Fabio Capello, and the Italian tactician, Carlo
Ancelotti, were in the mix ever since.
However, they both refused to lead the Russian outfit. Consequently, Anzhi turned their attention to Hiddink. Though Hiddink’s agent ruled out his client’s move initially, the Dutch tactician joined the Wild-division yesterday.
Hiddink, upon his appointment, has revealed that he joined the ambitious club because he loves to take initiatives. He added that the Russian outfit has immense potential and he will help them end their long wait to win silverware
in the near future.
He went on to admit that he never lost contact with his former club, Chelsea, revealing that he likes to watch matches in London. However, he denied that the West London club offered him a managerial position recently.
Speaking on the shock resignation of Fabio Capello, the former AC Milan manager denied that he has been offered the Three lions post. 
“I think, after working with two foreign coaches, they have decided to sign a home-grown manager.” The UEFA European Cup winner was quoted as saying.
