Guy's birthday present?

i have a guy friend who just turned 16, and we're like brother and sister. not in any relationship. i don't want to get him something to sit around because he doesn't need a thing. so we always go for a bike ride at a near by college and have a lot of fun. what other things could i do special for his birthday? any cool ideas we could do as far as actives outside? any games or something?
