If more young guys wore their speedo's would you??

Guy's: The Speedo swim brief and other taste full, s**y but not overly exposing mens briefs are going to be back in again.The trends are about to come back around on this swimming garment for the highly intelligent and sensible male. If you have not yet then its hard for you to know what I am talking about. You should try things while your young, before you place an opinion,about most things in life. Because when you do, you will understand why so many guys like myself will always want to wear them when we can. Then you will understand why confident, intelligent guys wear them to swim or hang out somewhere outdoors. And be able to; stay cool, look hot, be comfortable, not have to conform. I would like to start putting some trips to the; beach, pool, lake, river or water park, this summer. Where young, attractive, fit, straight guys like myself, in this great country "U.S.A."to wear their "swimmers".

Speedos are for competitive swimming only.

Regular swim trunks for all other times.

im a girl and i think that even if guys are hot and fit they still should'nt wear speedos its like an old ppl thing not for hot young guys. but looking at the pics, if u think that ur body is fit (and ur hot)  and u think speedo's may look good on you go for it but don't expect every girl to be all over you b/c most of us wont come to you

In my local swimming pool - in Europe - trunks are forbidden, and "briefs" are obligatory. The local chavs - lower class generally white hip-hop kids, of whom there are a great many - generally try to wear their boxers, usually too low on the hips, and too baggy, not to mention too see-through... Which is not that nice, either. Hence the rule. And hey presto, not nearly so many chavs.

I never had trunks - like shorts - before visiting the USA and realising that everybody was looking at me rather strangely... Despite my s**y blonde wife!

I think they look terrible.Board shorts type of swim trunks looks so much better.The speedo type looks g*y.

How many times are you going to ask this question? If you wanna wear speedos, wear speedos. Who really cares?

And if you think "swimmers" is a better alternative to "speedos" you may wanna think again...unless you enjoy wearing an article of clothing that is also slang for male reproductive fluid. Perhaps there's more than just a door swinging both ways?

Okay, I'm a "GUY"... an OLDER guy, and I think Speedo's should remain with swim-teams and those who are swimming as exercise.

I was a competitive swimmer and lifeguard for years, and would ONLY wear my Speedos WHEN I was swimming.  When I was out of the pool I wore shorts or sweatpants.

I was a NAVY combat SAR Swimmer, and wouldn't even wear the UDT shorts for civilian "poolside" or beachwear... and I was CERTAINLY in shape.

Though I ALSO have to laugh at the youngsters who wear the board-shorts hanging off their backsides.

If it was even remotely acceptable, i.e. 10-20% of men wore them, I would wear one all the time.  I think most of the comments simply reflect that american society has a negative vie of men barring a some skin.  If more men did wear them then it would be more acceptable and it wouldn't be an issue.  I think men should start wearing a wide variety of swimwear such a short trunks, square cuts, bikinis, string bikinis, and thongs and stop just going for the one size fits all board shorts,  On another front I don't think it should matter what kind of shape the man is in because I see plenty of women that are overweight wearing bikinis and people seem to be fine with that.
