Guy at hollister stole my Gift Card ! help !?

okay so i went to hollister 2 weeks ago with a 100 dollar gift card and bought three $15 shirts for 46 dollars then i went yesterday and bought a swimsuit top for $18 and the guy said their was exactly 18 left on my card and he was i'll just throuh this out for you with even letting me answer. so when i left the store i was like this cant be right so me and my friend went back in and i was like to the guy r u sure their was only 18 left and he said yes pointing to the reciet he pointed to the change.

when i went home i looked at the reciet and at the bottom it said

gift card remaining balance $15.34

im soooo pissed i know its not that muh tho it was weird the guy was not even that cute and he was all flirty with my friend and me

so my question is what to i do when i got to the store later?

Ok.

A. Stop shopping at Hollister. That place is stupid and over-priced.

B. Save your receipt. Maybe your gift card # is still on it.

C. Call Hollister corporate (Not a store) and tell them what happened. They should be able to track your card down and see how much was or is left on it.

you can't do anything.  you weren't paying attention, so you lost out on it.  move on, get smarter about your shopping.  he might have said "i'll throw this out for you" without letting me answer, but then you need to tell him that you want the card back.  if he refuses, then you ask to talk to the manager.  it's not a hard thing to think of at that time.  get smart.

well there is not much you can do about the gift card since it's gone (at least i don't think) i would be mad that he threw the card away without my permission. next time you go there just shop! if that guy is there just ignore him, you should have complained to the store manager!!

Report it to store management NOW. Later is too late. Use the receipt because that will identify the clerk.
