Guy friend lying to me?

I have a boyfriend of 6 months named mike. Before we started going out, everyone knew i liked him and one of my friends paul told me that another our friend jordan liked me. Jordan and i hung out one time before i started going out with mike. I went to Jordan's house and he said that our friend ryan was going to come over also, but ryan never showed. When i got home i got on aim and ryan was on. So i asked him why he didn't show and he said that he wasn't invited and that jordan never asked him to come over. Now, jordan is telling me that he has a girlfriend of about 3 months, but when i started to tell ryan about it he said that he didn't know jordan had a girlfriend. Ryan has known jordan for 11 years and lives next door to him and he said that he never sees anyone go over. Ryan also told me that he knows jordan and thinks he is lying to make me jealous. I need opinions on this. Do you think he is lying to make me break up w/ my boyfriend for him or what?

He's lying to impress you, and in hopes that you'll grow feelings for him, yet at the same time trying to seem pretty laid-back about everything and hoping you don't see how much he likes you.

Wow thats intense! I'm so sorry that this has happend to you but it does sound like he likes you. But, I guess you have to ask yourself stay with mike or take another chance on a guy who might or might not like you.

if u have a boyfriend .. especially if u's have been together for 6 motnhs.. why do u care so much about other guys and them making u jealous? if jordan told u he had a girlfriend.. and then ryan said he was lying.. why the h**l does this matter so much to u? and why wuld u see it as jordan trying to make u break up with mike?

ill say this. u thinking that and u asking people about it just proves that u care whether jordan has a girlfriend or not.. and what about mike? u like him right? and he likes u? so why do other guys lying if they have girlfriends even make a difference.

I don't think he is lying to make you break up with your boyfriend i think he may be lying that way he doesn't seem like a loser to you. If you have someone he mite feel that he needs to have someone that way you might not think he sits around alone thinking about you.

Guys have egos and you just stepped on his by getting with your boyfriend instead of him. In order for him to save whatever face he has left, he tries to come off like he was just trying to be friends with you and that he had someone else the whole time! It's a very common tactic. :) My ex boyfriend did something similar when he was trying to win me back and I finally told him I already had a boyfriend and showed him pictures. LOL The ex gave me a pic of this girl and said oh well he actually had another girlfriend already too. Too bad I saw this picture of the girl online a long time ago and know that she's not even in America!! HAHAHAH. >_< But yah, he's definitely lying to make you feel like you didn't mean a thing to him.
