Guy who got beat bad by the police?

i remmember seeing in a show about wildest court moments on Tru Tv. One part showed this guy who was being interogate by the police. He then got one of the guys gun and shot him on the face and jumped out of the 2nd floor. he ran but the cops caught him and well kicked his a**. they showed him in court with his eyes all puffy and he had a white plastic mask over him nose down to his mouth. the court went all crazy and stuff. so i wanna know like an article about this story as well as pctures of the guys face.

P.S. IT WAS NOT RODNEY KING lol oh and yes he was BLACK

another thing they didnt show it all go down on tape. they just showed him in court.

He was Hispanic for one and this happened in Providence, RI. The guy's name is Esteban Carpio, so you can google his name and have at it.

This man was originally brought in for mugging and stabbing and 80 something year old woman. He wound up taking a detective's gun while in the interrogation room and shot the cop with his own gun, shot out the window and jumped from the 3rd floor.

Oh yeah I saw that awhile back.  The funny thing was that he looked like that, that one day and the next he looked normal again with a black eye.  Though he was in there for murder and then shot a cop, the guy should consider himself lucky they didn't kill him or "couldn't find him."  Then 2 weeks later his body shows up out of the blue.  

I couldn't understand why everyone made such a fuss over this guy he killed a cop and was on trail for killing someone else.  He's not a happy, huggable fellow, he's a dangerous person who made his decision to take one possibly two lives and by that gave up his own life.  With trash like that in the world we should dispose of it as soon as possible.
